# /clone

> Clone emojis to your server.

# /clone

Clone emojis from other servers to your own server.

## Permissions

* **Requires:** Administrator

## Usage

Fill in the parameter below and run `/clone`.

## Parameters

### 1. **Emoji** (Required)

* The emoji(s) to clone
* Separate multiple emojis with spaces
* Supports Unicode emojis (ex: 😀, 🎉), custom emojis from other servers, and animated emojis

## Requirements

* **Bot Permissions:** The bot needs "Manage Expressions" permission
* **User Permissions:** You must be an Adminastrator
* **Server Slots:** Your server must have available emoji slots

## Discord Emoji Limits

Discord allows emoji slots based on server boost level:

| Boost Level | Emoji Slots                            |
| ----------- | -------------------------------------- |
| No Boost    | 50 emojis (25 static + 25 animated)    |
| Level 1     | 100 emojis (50 static + 50 animated)   |
| Level 2     | 150 emojis (75 static + 75 animated)   |
| Level 3     | 250 emojis (125 static + 125 animated) |

## Rate Limiting

Discord enforces a rate limit on emoji creation:

* **Maximum:** 50 emojis per hour
* **If limit is reached:** You'll need to wait for the limit to reset

## Notes

* Make sure your server has boost level appropriate for the number of emojis you want
* The cloned emoji will have a similar name to the original
